memories of day: a photojournalism essay
The story of “memories of day” encapsulates the journey of my love and our relationship through trips in my own words and photography. I utilized images of self in black and white to showcase the dark times and vibrant landscape photos to emphasize the positive. I intentionally included two images of self in color to represent the feeling of learning how to love myself again. The goal of the project was to create a personal read, while allowing the words to be vague enough others may relate to, as well.
